Hi Folks,

We have some tender spring butterhead and red lettuces, spinach, cabbage, small white turnips and rhubarb at the stand. If you’ve never been a fan of turnips these may convert you. They are sweet and crunchy. We use them raw in salads, lightly sauté in stir fry’s and the greens are lovely lightly cooked also.

Now how can you get to the stand to buy these lovely vegetables. If you are coming on Bear Creek Rd from town, turn at Rawhide, go straight to the north side of the farm, park on the street and walk over to the stand.
From 27th turn onto Copperfield, go straight to Pettigrew Rd. The entrance to the farm is across the road.

Coming from Reed Market go past  the local access only sign to the farm stand entrance. We will be putting out more signs.
