It caught us a bit off guard to see the irrigation water first trickling, then flowing, into the pond yesterday. Now we get to find all the cracks and damage from the winter in the irrigation lines, repair them, and start watering in the transplants to the greenhouse asap! The arrival of water is a bit of a kick-off to the planting season (although we’ve been starting seeds indoors since early March). It’s also a reminder of how fortunate we are to have this resource for our growing use.
