CSA options for 2021

post by: Debbie Fields March 15, 2021

Hi Folks,

Spring is coming and thoughts turn to growing. We’ve been mulling various options for our CSA. Our friend Jeremy, who has worked with us on and off since 2008 is wanting to farm this summer. So with his help we will be offering full CSA shares for $600. Pick up will be on Tuesdays.  For anyone wanting less than a full share we will offer 2,3 or 4 items per week for a set price on a monthly basis. They can be purchased at the beginning of the season or the beginning of each month. You will have the choice of what is available in the farm stand on the day you come. We will provide  a list of what an item is, for example: one bag of lettuce mix, spinach or other greens, one 5 or 6 carrot bunch, 3 cucumbers, 2 to 3 peppers, one box tomatoes, 1.5 to 2 lb head of broccoli, 3 to 4 lb head of cabbage, 2 small bunches of greens(kale or swiss chard)
2 items/week – $38 a month
3 items/week – $52 a month
4 items/week – $68 a month
And of course our farm stand will be open for per item purchase. Currently we have eggs(from our grand daughter), sauerkraut and storage onions for sale. Let us know what you are interested in this year.
