Fresh Raw Sauerkraut!
post by: Debbie Fields September 29, 2020
Hi Folks,
We have fresh raw sauerkraut in both traditional style and with caraway, filled with beneficial probiotics available at the farm stand. It needs to be kept refrigerated and will keep for 2 months. We also have the canned sauerkraut that is shelf stable for a year, so you can stock up for winter.
Our Bodacious yellow corn is peaking this week and there is plenty available. They are nice fat ears and are good for freezing as well as fresh eating. Broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, onions, peppers(both sweet bells and Anaheim’s) and raspberries are in the refrigerator. 5 varieties of potatoes, garlic and tomatoes are on the table. Come on by.

The stand has broccoli, cabbage, corn, cukes, Anaheim and sweet peppers, onions, potatoes, garlic and tomatoes available now. For the next 2 weeks we’ll be open on Mondays so corn will be freshly harvested everyday. Winter squash is curing right now and will be for sale in a week.

Hi Folks,
There’s a full farm stand with cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, cukes, kale, basil, parsley, summer squash, big onions, 4 varieties of potatoes, Kettle River garlic, tomatoes, sweet bell and Anaheim peppers. I made chili rellenos with our Anaheim peppers, were they ever delicious.
We’ve had several calls from kraut makers, yes the cabbage is sweet, juicy and abundant. We have plenty for making sauerkraut. Just let us know how many heads or pounds you need by phone, text or email. 541-382-8059
