Hi Folks,

Tomatoes and raspberries are now beginning. They’ll be hit and miss for the next couple weeks. Other veggies available are arugula,beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, 3 varieties of kale, lettuces, garlic, onions and red and gold potatoes. Herbs are basil, cilantro and parsley. This week at the farm stand we have plenty of arugula, broccoli, cabbage(green and red), cucumbers, 3 varieties of kale, lettuce, snap peas, zucchini(golden and green) and garlic curls. Peppers and tomatoes are beginning. Potatoes and garlic are on the table. Herbs include big bags of basil, mint and parsley. Look in the old refrigerator for eggs.

Garlic harvest is in full swing. We have 2 baskets of fresh garlic for sale at the farm stand. Fresh means it has not cured yet so won’t keep for months the way cured garlic does. But if you’re eager for some Fields Farm garlic we have Kettle River, a juicy softneck and Chesnock Red, a flavorful hardneck.

Arugula, broccoli, cabbage, garlic scapes, kales, lettuces, new potatoes and zucchini are plentiful. Basil, mint and parsley are the herbs this week. Cucumbers are just beginning. Come on by.

We have some creamy new potatoes, dark green and bright yellow zucchini at the farm stand this week. There is plenty of arugula, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, garlic scapes, kales(3 varieties), lettuce and herbs including big bags of basil, cilantro, mint and parsley. There are a few beets while we wait for the second planting to size up and the last of the rhubarb. Come on by.

New this week are beautiful heads of broccoli and sweet cabbage. Lettuce for the week is a green butterhead and green romaines. There’s plenty of arugula, carrots, basil, mint and garlic scapes. We have a few of the first planting of beets and kales are coming on. Second planting of beets and the first of the summer squash will be available next week. Come on by.

Currently there is plenty of lettuce, arugula, garlic scapes, rhubarb, basil and mint. On Tuesday we will be harvesting carrots, beets and cilantro. Eggs are likely to arrive Tuesday also.

New at the farm stand is hand made pottery by Our friend Marcie Monty. Marcie’s was the art teacher at High Desert Middle school until her retirement. Now she finds throwing pottery very rewarding and great therapy  for challenges in life.  Come on by and check it out.

New this week at the farm stand are carrots, garlic scapes and basil. We also have plenty of greens including lettuce, arugula, Asian greens and kales.Rhubarb and eggs are also available.

We continue to have lots of greens, including red and green lettuces, lettuce mix, arugula, spinach, Bok Choi, greens mix and kale is on now. There is also plenty of rhubarb and eggs will arrive on Wednesday.  The first of the basil will be ready in a couple days. Come on by.
