We went big on starting tomato plants these season, and have over 100 plants available for sale.  They will be available to purchase and pick up on Sat, May 3 from 9-noon at the farm.  At that time these plants will be well developed in 4″ pots and ready to pot-on to a larger container, but not ready for outdoor planting (unless you plan on moving pots in and out each day).  Plants are $7 each or 3 for $20.  Varieties available: San Marzano, Juliet, New Girl, Amish Paste, Big Beef, Pink Berkeley Tie Dye, and Sun Gold (please google variety names for more info and pics).  To order and reserve yours, please email fieldsfarmcsa@gmail.com with variety and quantity.

If you have any of the following items and would like to donate them for the farm’s use, please drop off at the sales shed.  This helps us keep costs reasonable, and it’s a great way to re-use often single-use items.

Grocery bags (sturdy plastic [the thick, Safeway ones] and paper, the kind you get at the checkout line)

Berry boxes (the green, recycled paper type)

Flower containers (the small, 4″ plastic ones your annuals come in)

Sandbags (preferably full, but we’ll make full ones out of partials)

**At the moment we do not need egg containers, but we’ll let you know if we do.
