This summer we are organizing monthly volunteer work parties at Fields Farm, informally dubbed “Sundays at the Farm.” Over the years we have had many inquiries about how to get involved at the farm, and we hope that having regularly scheduled work parties will benefit both the farm and folks who want to come out and get their hands dirty. Tasks will vary depending on what needs to be done at each phase of the season.
Dates for this summer: May 18, June 29, July 13, August 10, September 7, October 5.
These days will be from 9am-1pm (ending time is flexible), with a break for lunch around 11:30 or so. We may try a potluck, or the farm may provide…we’ll pick something depending on how many people are interested. Kids are welcome to join (there will be at least one toddler in attendance), and we ask that parents be able to monitor/supervise any kids they bring. Please leave pets at home.
